First Presbyterian Church - Anderson, IN
We are a welcoming family of faith called by God to believe in Jesus Christ and be transformed into his likeness.
We joyfully proclaim the gospel in worship and in the world by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of His name.
Join us for worship! Sundays at 10:00
"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech
and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."
1 Timothy 4:12
YOUTH (grades 7-12)
Our youth are more than the future of Christ's church. They are valued members of our family of faith right now. Courtney Babb leads the youth ministry and is assisted by Mary Wirt. We study God's Word to learn how it applies to life at home, school, and social situations where Godly wisdom is greatly needed. In addition to times of fun and fellowship, our young people participate in local mission work such as the Souper Bowl of Caring, the 24 Hour Fast, a monthly food ministry, and annual mission trips.
Youth (grades 7-12) meet Sunday mornings at 9:00, Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:30, and Thursday evenings 6:30-7:30.
KIDS CLUB (grades 3-6)
Kids Club is a monthly fellowship for students in grades 3-6. We share a Bible lesson, have snacks, play games, and make crafts as we grow in our understanding of how Jesus is at work in our lives. Kids Club is currently involved in a mission project collecting plastic bottle caps to benefit Riley Hospital for Children. We also attend summer camp at Camp PYOCA (Presbyterian Youth Camp) in Brownstown, IN to enjoy fellowship with disciples their age from other communities.
Kids Club meets on the third Sunday of each month from 4-6:30.
