First Presbyterian Church - Anderson, IN
We are a welcoming family of faith called by God to believe in Jesus Christ and be transformed into his likeness.
We joyfully proclaim the gospel in worship and in the world by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of His name.
Join us for worship! Sundays at 10:00
Men's Fellowship - Our men gather every Wednesday morning at 9 AM at Flashback's restaurant in downtown Anderson for breakfast and fellowship. It is said that many of the world's problems are solved at this breakfast. Reservations are not necessary.
Men's Fellowship - Presby Pride was organized by John Eddy and is a gathering of men on the third Saturday morning of every month at 9 AM. Sometimes they meet at the church and other times they meet at other locations. A speaker brings a message or information and a meal is shared. Call Chuck James at 765-642-9328 to make your reservation (for food preparation).
Women's Fellowship - Our women are deeply involved in many activities within our church. They gather quarterly for Christ centered women's fellowship. Examples are a catered Christmas Tea, fall retreats (at Gaither's), and spring retreat at locations off site. Call Donna Madewell at 765-642-0219 for information about how to become involved in women's activities at First Presbyterian Church.
Youth - Our Youth Group meets on Sundays at 4 -5:30. Thursdays are a special time of gathering for our youth. "Youth Connect" meets on Thursdays at 6:30. This is a casual time for our Youth. The second Thursday of each month, they perform mission work by delivering food provided by Operation Love to low income elderly residents at Southdale Towers. The other Thursdays, they share their weekly experiences, give their thoughts on their world, and eat snacks. Our Youth are any interested students grades 7-12. Call Donna Madewell at First Presbyterian, 765-642-0219, for more information.
The third Sunday of each month belongs to 4-6 graders. Kids Club meets from 4:-5:30
and celebrates the love of Christ in mission work, lessons, crafts, games, and snacks! Our current mission project is collecting
bottle and jar lids (non-recyclable) from home, relatives and friends. They are donated to Riley Children's Hospital to help with medical costs.
Expect the unexpected at Kids Club. For more information, call Donna Madewell at First Presbyterian, 765-642-0219.
